四季春紅茶 - Sijichun Red Tea
The Four Seasons Spring (四季春 - Sijichun) cultivar thrives at low altitudes in Taiwan all year round. It is widely used because it grows quickly and produces abundant leaves. Although it is common for this type of cultivar to be used for industrial tea, our friends at Mingjian have a carefully maintained garden and skillful mastery to turn it into an aromatic and balanced small-leaf red tea.
It is a close and accessible tea with pleasant floral notes. A very good tea to start discovering the flavors and mastery of small-leaf black tea from Taiwan.
