The Four Seasons Spring (四季春 - Sijichun) cultivar grows very well at low altitudes in Taiwan. It is very famous for its fast growth and abundant leaves. Although this type of plant is used for industrialized tea, our friends at Mingjian have an excellently maintained garden and, in addition to their ability to produce their wulong by hand, give this tea high-end qualities.

 

It is a very entertaining and accessible tea, with interesting floral notes and easy to drink. Very good to start discovering the flavors and aromas of Taiwan.

  • Brewing recommendations

    1. Teapot: Clay or porcelain.
    2. Serving: 6g tea per 100ml water.
    3. Temperature: 95°C - 100°C.
    4. Suggested brewing time:
      1. 50 seconds
      2. 35 seconds
      3. 45 seconds
      4. Increase 10 - 15 seconds for each subsequent brew
