凍頂烏龍茶 - Dongding - Lugu Competition
Dongding tea is a famous and traditional tea in Taiwan, originally from the mountain of the same name located in Lugu, Nantou County. Traditionally it is produced with medium to high oxidation and strong baking. But according to the taste of consumers, the method was gradually changed to medium/low oxidation.
Nowadays we can find this tea produced in other areas of Taiwan and with various levels of oxidation and baking, which obey the wide taste of producers and consumers in Taiwan.
This tea is part of the batch that received the "3 Ume Flowers" award in the last competition of the Lugu Farmers Association during May 2025. With low oxidation and medium baking.

Brewing recommendations
- Teapot: Clay or porcelain.
- Serving: 6g tea per 100ml water.
- Temperature: 95°C - 100°C.
- Suggested brewing time:
- 50 seconds
- 35 seconds
- 45 seconds
- Increase 10 - 15 seconds for each subsequent brew
