  • What is single origin tea?
    The tea of origin is all that which comes from a source known by the consumer and/or retail. In the case of Yang Tea Taiwan, we can attest to the origin of all our teas, since we select them personally and directly with the producer. Each of our teas has a section with information on its origin (country, area, town and elevation of the garden). If you have any questions, please contact us!   • Oolong or Wulong tea?
    They are simply 2 ways to write the word 烏龍 in Latin characters. It is the name commonly given to one of the 6 varieties of tea and is the most famous in Taiwan.
  • What is Wulong tea?
    In our blog ("The diversity of Taiwan's Wulong tea") we dive into this topic, but here we can tell you that: It is one of the 6 varieties of tea and the most famous in Taiwan. It is characterized by being made in a fairly broad oxidation level that goes from approx 8% to 70% or 85%. It also follows well defined processes that begin with the harvest.   • When will I receive my order?
    We usually process orders within a maximum of 48 business hours, within which we prepare your order and send it according to the shipping option available for the destination of your order. Then it is the responsibility of the postal company (EMS, Courrier, etc) to deliver your order as quickly as possible. Please keep in mind that the entry process in each country is different and may even require additional information from the recipient of the shipment. This is why you will receive an email with the tracking code as soon as we have it available so you can stay tuned for any news. That being said, shipments usually arrive within 7-14 business days after sending. Please visit our "Shipping" page for more information on available times and destinations.
  • To which countries do we ship?
    Currently we ship to almost the entire world, with few exceptions due to contingencies. We mainly use 3 shipping methods. EMS, which is an express service of Taiwan Post. This service is only available to some destinations, so we invite you to visit our "Shipping" page to review the details. The cost of this service fluctuates between $15 and $20 dollars Courrier, which allows us to reach countries that are not available through EMS. This is a more expensive service, but we do offer a flat rate of $45. It should be noted that this option is only available if the EMS service is not available Domestic, which is available only for shipments within Taiwan (including main and surrounding islands). This service is free
  • What currency is the website in?
    By default, all prices on this website are in US dollars (USD), but there is an option in the footer to convert these values to multiple currencies.
  • Which payment methods are available?
    On our website you can pay safely with credit and debit cards and with the balance of your Paypal account. When checking your shopping cart you will have the option to make the payment with "Paypal Checkout" which allows you to pay directly with your credit or debit card without a Paypal account. Or if you prefer, you can also make payments directly with the balance of your Paypal account.
